Terms and Conditions

Please take your time to read through our terms and conditions. Once you book you automatically agree to the below terms and conditions. 

1. Booking & Payment

1.1. All bookings must be made in advance and are only confirmed once payment has been received in full.
1.2. Studio hire fees are non-transferable unless agreed by Ivory Nest Studios.
1.3. The hirer must be at least 18 years old and present throughout the booking.

2. Session Time

2.1. Booking times include set-up and pack-down. Please ensure you allow sufficient time within your booking.
2.2. Overtime will be charged at the studio’s hourly rate and is subject to availability.

3. Use of Studio

3.1. The studio may only be used for photography, videography, and creative projects unless otherwise agreed.
3.2. Furniture, props, and equipment must be handled with care and returned to their original positions after use.
3.3. Any damage to the studio, furniture, props, or equipment caused during the booking will be charged to the hirer.

4. Capacity & Conduct

4.1. Maximum capacity must be adhered to as agreed at the time of booking.
4.2. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons attending the booking.
4.3. Smoking, vaping, or use of hazardous materials is strictly prohibited.

5. Health & Safety

5.1. The hirer is responsible for ensuring all activities carried out during the booking are safe and appropriate.
5.2. Children under 16 must be supervised at all times.

6. Flooring & Shoe Covers

6.1. To protect our painted flooring, all clients and guests must wear shoe covers provided by the studio when not actively being photographed or filmed.
6.2. Shoes may be worn without covers only when required for photographs or filming.
6.3. Any damage to flooring from non-compliance will be chargeable to the hirer.

7. Cleaning & Waste

7.1. The studio must be left in the same condition as it was found.
7.2. All waste must be disposed of in the bins provided.
7.3. Additional cleaning charges may apply if the studio is left in an unsuitable condition.

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

8.1. Ivory Nest Studios does not offer refunds for cancellations.
8.2. Sessions may be rescheduled once, provided at least 48 hours’ notice is given.
8.3. Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the booking being forfeited.

9. Breakages, Losses and Damages

9.1. The client is responsible for any breakages, losses, or damages caused to the studio or equipment by the client, or any other person(s), during the allotted booking time.

9.2. All equipment used is at the client’s own risk. Ivory Nest Studios shall not be liable for any loss or damage to materials, props, or equipment. This includes any consequential loss of profit, however caused, arising out of the use of, or inability to use, equipment supplied or agreed to be supplied (all equipment is subject to availability).

9.3. No alterations or additions to the studio space or equipment are permitted without prior written consent from Ivory Nest Studios.

9.4. The client must notify Ivory Nest Studios staff at the time of supply if the condition of any equipment is not acceptable. The client shall pay any costs incurred by Ivory Nest Studios arising out of any breach of this condition.

9.5. Ivory Nest Studios shall not be liable to the client for any loss, damage, expense, or consequential loss (including loss of profit) in connection with:

  • Any damage to or loss of property by the client or any third party.

  • Any breakdown, stoppage, or failure of the facilities or equipment provided by Ivory Nest Studios.

10. Termination

10.1Ivory Nest Studios may terminate any booking or hire contract if the client is found to be in breach of any terms and conditions.

If a client is found to be aggressive, malicious or disrespectful to a member of Ivory Nest Studios, then the Studio reserves the right to terminate any booking immediately and ban the client from any future bookings.
